Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Rackd is a comprehensive pool game tracking app that helps you monitor your performance, calculate your skill rating, and improve your game. It tracks match results, provides detailed statistics, and uses our proprietary Rax rating system to measure your skill level.

Rackd offers both free and premium features. Basic match tracking and statistics are free. Premium features include advanced analytics, detailed performance insights, and additional customization options.

Yes! You can record matches and view your statistics offline. Your data will automatically sync when you reconnect to the internet.

Rax Rating System

Your Rax rating is calculated based on multiple factors including match outcomes, opponent strength, consistency of play, game type, and recent performance. Wins against stronger opponents give more rating points, while losses against weaker opponents result in larger rating decreases.

Rax ratings are divided into skill levels: Beginner (0-499), Intermediate (500-999), Advanced (1000-1499), Expert (1500-1999), and Master (2000+). These ranges help you understand your skill level and track your progress.

This can happen if you win against an opponent with a significantly lower rating than expected, or if the match format doesn't align with the rating calculation. The Rax system considers the expected outcome based on player ratings.
