Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Rackd is a comprehensive pool game tracking app that helps you monitor your performance, calculate your skill rating, and improve your game. It tracks match results, provides detailed statistics, and uses our proprietary Rax rating system to measure your skill level.

Rackd's current public-beta features are free. Any future paid features will be clearly identified before purchase.

An in-progress match is saved on your device if connectivity drops. An internet connection is required to load cloud history, confirm results, and update Rax ratings.

Rax Rating System

Rax compares the confirmed match result with the expected result from both players' current ratings. The update also considers game type, race length, match count, and rating deviation, and is capped to limit extreme swings.

Rackd uses display tiers: Novice below 1200, Beginner at 1200, Improving at 1400, Intermediate at 1600, Advanced at 1800, Expert at 2000, and Master at 2200. They are internal leaderboard labels, not official league classifications.

This can happen if you win against an opponent with a significantly lower rating than expected, or if the match format doesn't align with the rating calculation. The Rax system considers the expected outcome based on player ratings.

Yes. You can change your public display name in Profile settings. Display names are not guaranteed to be unique.

Open Profile > Settings > Privacy & Support > Delete Account. Your login and private profile data are deleted; historical match records are anonymized so opponents' records remain accurate.

Technical Issues

Try these steps: 1) Force close and restart the app, 2) Restart your device, 3) Check for app updates in the App Store, 4) Ensure you have enough storage space. If the problem persists, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
